TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE TICKET PURCHASE

 

§1

General provisions

 

These Terms & Conditions (hereunder referred to as the “Terms & Conditions”) apply to the purchase of a ticket available online, group tickets and single tickets for attractions/ events at Europejskie Centrum Solidarności [European Solidarity Centre] in Poland, Gdańsk, pl. Solidarności 1 (hereunder referred to as the “Centre”).

  1. You can buy tickets in the online ticket purchase system only after you have accepted the Terms & Conditions, available at www.ecs.gda.pl.
  2. You can buy Centre admission tickets online at www.bilety.ecs.gda.pl only after you have accepted the Terms & Conditions and signed up (registered).
  3. You can buy Centre admission tickets online for organised groups and for individuals.
  4. You can buy a ticket available online only when:
  5. your bank makes payments through PayU or if you have a payment card accepted by PayU
  6. free places are available.
  7. PayU SA, registered in Poland, 60-166 Poznań, ul. Grunwaldzka 182, a domestic payment institution, supervised by Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego [Financial Supervision Authority], Payment Services Register No. IP1/2012, entered into the register of entrepreneurs run by Sąd Rejonowy [District Court] in Poznań—Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, Wydział VIII Gospodarczy Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy [VIII Commercial Department of the National Court Register] KRS No. 0000274399, initial capital of PLN 4,000,000 paid in full, NIP (VAT) No. 779-23-08-495, REGON (Statistical) No. 300523444.
  8. Single and group tickets can be purchased for the following attractions: permanent exhibition, Play Department, workshops and other special events.
  9. Only single tickets can be purchased for special events organised by the Centre.
  10. If you buy a ticket available online in breach of the requirements set forth in the regulations of a given event (for example the age limit), you will not be entitled to a refund on such a purchase.
  11. The method of collecting tickets to other events will be specified each time in the regulations of a given event.
  12. In order to make an online purchase of the tickets referred to in the Terms & Conditions, you have to have the technical infrastructure and IT system to allow you to use Internet resources, an email account and a web browser which makes it possible to view Internet websites. It is recommended that you use the most up-to-date version of one of the following browsers, with enabled (allowed) cookies support, Java Script and SSL: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome.
  13. The electronic payment service when paying for the tickets is free of charge.

 

§2

Purchase of tickets online

 

  1. Every online purchase requires you to make a payment by completing a transaction through PayU, in the amount corresponding to the full value of the tickets and upon prior sign up (registration).
  2. When making an online ticket purchase, you should select the type of ticket, the date and time of the visit at the Centre (for group tickets) and at the Play Department, and complete the details required in the form: first and last name of the person booking the tickets or the full name of the buyer, email address, the type and quantity of tickets from the available price categories. In order to receive an invoice, you need to mark the “With invoice” option and provide the details required for an invoice to be issued:
  • buyer’s first and last name or the organisation’s name;
  • address (town/city, post/zip code, street);
  • VAT (Tax ID) No.
  1. The payment for tickets available online is made by means of the PayU system. Before making the payment, you should check on the online ticket purchase pages whether the system supports the bank from which the payment transaction will be made.
  2. In order to successfully complete the purchase of a ticket available online, you need to make the payment within 15 minutes of selecting the ticket at the Centre. After that time, the booked tickets will return to the general ticket pool.
  3. Within 24 hours of purchase completion as per the section above, the system will email a message to confirm the purchase of a ticket available online to the email account you have provided.
  4. Pursuant to the Polish Act of 29 August 1997 on personal data protection (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2002 No. 101, item 926 as amended), any person who enters their details in the form gives their consent for their personal details to be processed by Europejskie Centrum Solidarności, plac Solidarności 1, 80–863 Gdańsk, Poland, exclusively for the purpose of ticket booking and sales.
  5. If system errors occur after the time designated for ticket booking, if the payment is cancelled or rejected or if the payment is confirmed, you should proceed in accordance with the messages displayed in the online ticket purchase service or in the automatic email messages.
  6. Ticket refunds will be subject to the principles determined in the regulations of each relevant attraction/event.
